Wii U

"It's the console that will singlehandedly change the way people play games for years to come."

GamePad controller removes the traditional barriers between you, your games, and your TV by creating a second window into the video game world. It incorporates a 6.2-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio LCD touch screen, as well as traditional button controls and two analog sticks.

The GamePad also includes motion control, a front-facing camera, a microphone, stereo speakers, rumble features, a sensor bar, a stylus, and support for Near Field Communication (NFC). It is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and weighs approximately 1.1 pounds

Note

The screenshot above appears when you first turn on your Wii U.  We will mainly be concerned with the System Settings and how to get the Wii U connected to the Internet.

The screen of GamePad and TV usually appear the same but not always. All the screenshots above were taken from the GamePad so we will show you how to configure using that. On the GamePad you touch the screen to get from location to location. Instead of "touch" we will use the mouse instead.

Browse your way around just as you would if you were using the Wii U. This will allow you to see how to configure the computer without having one in your hands.
